Deleting your account
Your account and every record in it can be deleted from inside the app in under a minute, with no need to contact anyone. This page says how, what goes, and what to do if you are locked out. Questions: privacy@aromarytechnologies.com.
From inside the app
- Open Settings from the tab bar.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete my account".
- The app shows exactly what will be removed: every child's records, files, sharing, and your account itself.
- Type your password to confirm. A wrong password stops the deletion and nothing changes.
- Tap delete. The account and everything in it is removed immediately, and you are signed out.
Before you do this, Settings → Your data → Export everything as JSON gives you a complete copy to keep.
If you cannot sign in
Write to support@aromarytechnologies.com from the email address on the account. We will confirm it is you by replying to that address, then delete the account and tell you when it is done — normally within 7 days, never more than 30.
What is deleted
Everything: the child profiles, every session, goal, milestone, hard moment, sleep, meal, medication, appointment, contact, cost, note, and every attached file. Anyone you had shared a child with loses access at the same moment, because the record they were looking at no longer exists.
Your subscription is not cancelled by deleting the account — subscriptions are managed by Google Play or the App Store. Cancel it there, or it will renew.
What is kept
Nothing that identifies you or a child. Backups held by our database provider expire on their normal schedule, which is measured in days. Google Play and the App Store keep their own purchase records under their own policies.
If you had been invited to somebody else’s child, that record belongs to them and stays with them; only your access to it is removed.
Deleting one child instead
You do not have to delete your account to remove a single child's records. In Settings → Children, tap the ⋯ next to the child and choose "Delete permanently…". It asks for the child's name and your password, removes that child, and keeps the rest.
